Large Baseplates for High Precision Devices
For this project, we machined large baseplates for High Precision Devices in Boulder. HPD was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2017 with this Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory. In this main base, we were proud to deliver 1,045 threaded holes, 300 through holes with true position of 0.005″, and milled the perimeter of this 86″ across hexagonal shape with flatness less than 0.010″.
Canning Machine Tools – Installed Worldwide
For years, we have supplied these machine tool 120″ baseplates with eight (8) precision 9-inch bores within 0.005″ true position to each other, for aluminum can inking machines.
Sundyne Compressor Housing
Our 62″ swing vertical turret lathe machines inlet and discharge housings for centrifugal pumps and compressors for Sundyne. Their gas compressors run at speeds over 40,000 rpms so o-ring surfaces sealing high pressure gases are critical to their safe performance.
